Our Welder Screening Process

Stage 1 — Document Review: We verify existing welder qualification records (WQR), WPS compliance, and continuity of employment.

Stage 2 — Practical Trade Test: Every welder completes a 6G position weld on a pipe specimen. The weld undergoes bend testing (root and face), visual inspection to AWS D1.1 / ASME IX criteria, and radiographic examination for premium campaigns.

Stage 3 — GAMCA Medical: All welders pass a GAMCA-approved medical fitness examination including chest X-ray, vision test, and blood/lung function checks relevant to welding hazards.

Stage 4 — Shortlisting & Interview: You receive a shortlist with test records, medical certificates, and CVs. Remote or on-site interviews arranged.

Stage 5 — Visa & Mobilisation: QTS coordinates the complete visa application, attestation, ticketing, and on-site check-in for each welder.

Do you offer on-client-site trade testing?

We can arrange trade testing in Egypt at approved testing facilities. For major clients, we can also coordinate client-side testing for final approval of pre-screened candidates.
